Smart Measure FAQ

Do I need a LiDAR iPhone?: No — you do not scan anything yourself. Our team uses LiDAR-capable iPhone/iPad Pro equipment on-site when we visit your home.
Is anything recorded or shared?: Smart Measure may use the device's camera and LiDAR sensor in real time to identify room geometry, surfaces, and measurements. Anthony's Painting does not save a conventional video or audio recording of the scan unless separate project photos or videos are captured with your permission. Scan data is used for your estimate and is not sold to third parties.
What gets measured?: Interior walls, ceilings, trim, baseboards, and openings (doors and windows). Measurements feed directly into your painting scope and material quantities.
How long does the scan take?: Most rooms take a few minutes. A typical whole-home interior visit is often completed in one appointment alongside your walkthrough.
Is Smart Measure extra cost?: No — it is part of how we build your free estimate. You get the same transparent bid whether we use LiDAR or traditional takeoffs on simpler jobs.
